TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to tickets, events and webshop purchases offered by Vereniging FurGroove.
1. About FurGroove
FurGroove events and the FurGroove webshop are operated by:
FurGroove
Chamber of Commerce (KVK): 95840346
VAT number: NL867334617B01
Email: info@furgroove.club
In these Terms & Conditions, “FurGroove”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to FurGroove.
2. Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply when you:
-
purchase or use a ticket for a FurGroove event;
-
attend a FurGroove event;
-
purchase products through the FurGroove webshop; or
-
otherwise enter into an agreement with FurGroove to which these Terms & Conditions have been declared applicable.
Additional rules may apply to individual events, venues or products. Where relevant, these will be communicated before purchase or attendance.
Mandatory consumer rights always take precedence where these Terms & Conditions cannot legally limit or exclude them.
EVENT TICKETS
3. Ticket purchases
Tickets for FurGroove events are generally sold through our designated ticketing platform.
A ticket grants admission to the event for which it was issued, subject to these Terms & Conditions, the FurGroove Code of Conduct, any venue rules and any event-specific requirements communicated in advance.
The purchaser is responsible for providing a valid email address and checking the information relating to the event before completing the purchase.
Unless stated otherwise, advertised ticket prices include applicable VAT and mandatory charges shown during the ordering process.
4. No right of withdrawal for event tickets
Tickets for leisure activities taking place on a specific date or during a specific period are excluded from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
Therefore, purchasing a FurGroove event ticket is final once the purchase has been completed, except where these Terms & Conditions or mandatory law provide otherwise.
5. Refunds
If you are unable or no longer wish to attend an event, FurGroove does not provide a refund.
This includes, for example, changes to personal circumstances, travel arrangements, illness or choosing not to attend.
You may transfer your ticket to another person as described below.
This provision does not affect your rights if FurGroove cancels or reschedules the event or where mandatory law provides otherwise.
6. Ticket Transfers
FurGroove tickets may be given or resold to another person.
Changing the name associated with the ticket is not normally required for the ticket to remain valid. A name change may be requested by contacting FurGroove.
The original ticket holder is responsible for ensuring that a transferred ticket is only provided to one person. A ticket may only be used once.
FurGroove is not responsible for private transactions between the original purchaser and another person.
Commercial or fraudulent resale practices may be refused where necessary to prevent abuse or fraud.
7. Event cancellation
If FurGroove cancels an event and no replacement event is offered, ticket holders are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for the ticket, including mandatory ticket or service charges paid as part of the purchase.
The refund will normally be made through the original payment method or ticketing platform where technically possible.
We use this information to respond to your request. Depending on the nature of your request, this processing may be based on our legitimate interest in communicating with our community or on steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement.
We normally retain ordinary correspondence for no longer than two years after the last relevant contact, unless it remains necessary for an ongoing matter, agreement, dispute or legal obligation.
8. Event rescheduling
If FurGroove moves an event to another date, existing tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event.
Ticket holders who cannot or do not wish to attend the new date may request a refund.
Instructions and any reasonable deadline for requesting such a refund will be communicated to affected ticket holders.
9. Programme changes
Event programmes, timetables, DJs, performers, activities, rooms, facilities and other programme elements may be changed where reasonably necessary.
Such changes do not in themselves entitle the ticket holder to a refund, provided that the essential nature of the event has not materially changed.
A change to the event date is handled under Section 8.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Admission and age requirements
Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a particular event, FurGroove parties are 18+.
Visitors must meet the applicable minimum age on the date of the event.
FurGroove or venue staff may request valid identification where necessary to verify age or identity.
A valid ticket does not override age restrictions, venue requirements or other lawful admission requirements.
A visitor who does not meet the announced admission requirements may be refused entry without a refund where the relevant requirement was clearly communicated in advance.
11. Code of Conduct
All visitors must follow the current FurGroove Code of Conduct, applicable venue rules and reasonable instructions given by FurGroove crew, security personnel or venue staff.
The Code of Conduct forms part of the rules governing attendance at FurGroove events.
FurGroove may refuse admission to or remove a visitor who seriously or repeatedly violates these rules, causes an unsafe situation, harasses others, causes damage, disrupts the event or refuses to follow reasonable instructions.
Where admission is refused or a visitor is removed because of their own conduct or failure to comply with clearly communicated rules, no refund will be provided.
Serious incidents may be reported to the venue, security personnel or competent authorities where appropriate.
12. Personal belongings
Visitors remain responsible for their own belongings.
FurGroove is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought to an event, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Visitors should take particular care of valuable or fragile items.
Any cloakroom, storage area, fursuit lounge or similar facility does not automatically constitute acceptance by FurGroove of responsibility for stored belongings.
13. Damage caused by visitors
Visitors may be held responsible for damage they intentionally or negligently cause to the venue, equipment, property of FurGroove or property belonging to third parties.
FurGroove may seek reasonable compensation for such damage where legally permitted.
14. Photography and recordings
Photography at FurGroove events is governed by the FurGroove Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy.
Official FurGroove photographers may be present at events. More information about how FurGroove handles event photography, objections and removal requests can be found in our Privacy Policy.
Visitors must respect the privacy and boundaries of other attendees when taking their own photographs or recordings.
WEBSHOP
15. Webshop purchases
Products offered through the FurGroove webshop are sold by FurGroove.
We may use third-party service providers for payment processing, production and fulfilment. This does not change FurGroove’s responsibilities towards consumers as the seller.
Most FurGroove merchandise is produced after an order is placed. Unless a product is genuinely personalised according to the customer’s individual specifications, this made-to-order production process does not by itself remove statutory consumer rights.
Product images and colours may vary slightly due to displays, materials and production processes. Such minor differences do not affect statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming products.
16. Prices and Payment
Prices displayed in the webshop include applicable VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
Any delivery charges or other mandatory costs will be shown before the order is completed.
Payment is handled using the payment methods made available during checkout.
An order is subject to acceptance and availability. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will inform the customer and refund amounts paid for the unavailable product where applicable.
17. Right of withdrawal
Consumers purchasing standard products online generally have the statutory right to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the product.
For an order containing multiple products delivered separately, the statutory period starts when the last relevant product is received where required by law.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must clearly inform FurGroove of the decision to withdraw before the withdrawal period expires.
This can be done by emailing info@furgroove.club.
The consumer may also use the Model Withdrawal Form made available by FurGroove, but use of that form is not mandatory.
18. Returning products after withdrawal
After notifying FurGroove of the withdrawal, the consumer must return the product within the applicable statutory period.
Unless FurGroove states otherwise, the direct cost of returning the product is paid by the consumer.
FurGroove will provide the appropriate return instructions after receiving the withdrawal request. Products should not be sent directly to a production or fulfilment partner unless FurGroove has instructed the customer to do so.
The consumer may inspect a product to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
If a product has been handled beyond what is necessary for such inspection and this results in a reduction in value, FurGroove may deduct that reduction in value from the refund to the extent permitted by law.
19. Refund following withdrawal
Following a valid withdrawal, FurGroove will refund the payments that must legally be refunded, including the standard outbound delivery costs where applicable.
If the consumer chose a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by FurGroove, FurGroove does not have to refund the additional delivery cost to the extent permitted by law.
Refunds will be made within the statutory period and normally using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
FurGroove may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the consumer provides sufficient evidence that the goods have been returned, where permitted by law.
20. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to products for which the law provides an exception.
This can include products manufactured according to the consumer’s individual specifications or which are clearly personalised.
The fact that a standard FurGroove product is only produced after an order is placed does not by itself make the product personalised.
Where an exception applies to a particular product, this will be clearly communicated before the order is placed.
21. Defective, damaged or incorrect products
Consumers are entitled to products that conform to the purchase agreement and applicable law.
If a product arrives defective, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to what was agreed, please contact FurGroove at info@furgroove.club.
Where possible, include the order number, a description of the problem and photographs showing the issue.
FurGroove will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
Rights relating to defective or non-conforming products are separate from the right of withdrawal.
A customer will not be required to give up statutory warranty rights because production or fulfilment is performed by a third party.
22. Delivery
Estimated delivery times shown in the webshop are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Products may be produced and shipped by a fulfilment partner on behalf of FurGroove.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If delivery is delayed, lost or otherwise unsuccessful, the rights and responsibilities of FurGroove and the customer will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
23. Force majeure and circumstances beyond our control
Events and orders may be affected by circumstances reasonably beyond FurGroove’s control.
Where such circumstances occur, FurGroove will take reasonable steps to limit their impact and communicate material changes where appropriate.
This section does not remove any refund, cancellation or other rights that consumers have under mandatory law.
24. Liability
FurGroove is not liable for indirect or consequential loss except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
These Terms & Conditions do not limit statutory consumer rights.
25. Privacy
FurGroove processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
For website cookies and similar technologies, please refer to the FurGroove Cookie Policy.
26. Complaints
Questions or complaints concerning tickets, events, webshop orders or these Terms & Conditions can be sent to info@furgroove.club.
Please provide sufficient information for us to identify the relevant ticket, order or event and investigate the matter.
We aim to respond within a reasonable period.
27. Applicable law
These Terms & Conditions and agreements with FurGroove are governed by Dutch law.
For consumers residing outside the Netherlands, this choice of law does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protection that applies under the law of their country of habitual residence where such protection cannot legally be excluded.
Disputes may be submitted to the competent court in accordance with applicable law.
28. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
FurGroove may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to a purchase will normally be the version made available when the agreement was concluded, unless a later change is required by law or is expressly agreed.
Changes to these Terms & Conditions will not retroactively remove statutory or contractual rights already acquired by consumers.
29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, this does not automatically affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
The invalid or unenforceable provision will be interpreted or replaced to the extent legally possible in a manner that most closely reflects its intended lawful purpose.
